The London to Singapore sector is not a light jet mission in the conventional sense. At roughly 5,900 nautical miles great circle, the route exceeds the range of every certified light jet by a factor of three, which means any quote honoring the category here is really a quote for a staged itinerary: Farnborough or Biggin Hill outbound, then two or three tech stops before Changi or Seletar. Typical routings run via Larnaca or Istanbul, followed by Dubai or Muscat, then Ahmedabad or Colombo, with the final leg into WSSS. Expect a block time in the region of 18 to 22 hours including ground turns, and plan crew duty breaks at one of the midpoints.

The operational particulars matter more than the headline price. EGLF carries a firm 2200 to 0700 local curfew with movement caps, so a late slot often pushes departure to Luton or Biggin Hill without meaningful time savings. Farnborough handles customs and immigration on field through TAG, which remains the cleanest handover for a multi leg trip of this length. At the Singapore end, Seletar (WSSL) is the designated general aviation field, though Changi (WSSS) is available with prior PPR and ground handling through JetQuay CIP. Customs at Changi is efficient for scheduled arrivals and less so for ad hoc private movements, so Seletar is usually the faster clearance if the receiving party is flexible on road transfer time into the city.

A light jet makes sense on this pairing only under narrow circumstances: a suitable airframe already pre positioned in Europe or the Gulf, a one way ferry where the client accepts the stops for commercial reasons, or a budget led charter where total elapsed time is not the governing variable. For most Singapore bound missions from London, a heavy or ultra long range aircraft flown nonstop is the honest recommendation.
