Empty legs out of London move on hours, not days. Most originate at Farnborough (EGLF) or Luton (EGGW) after a one-way charter drops a principal and the aircraft needs to reposition home, usually to Paris, Nice, Geneva, or a maintenance base in the Midlands. Prices sit well below standard charter because the operator has already absorbed the positioning cost, but the trade is rigidity: the departure window is fixed, the aircraft type is fixed, and if the originating trip shifts by ninety minutes, your leg moves with it. We only release empty legs once the inbound sector is airborne or firmly slotted, which removes the common frustration of chasing a quote that quietly evaporates.

Biggin Hill is the sharper choice for clients routing south of the river or connecting from Kent, and it holds a useful 22:00 weekday curfew with extensions available. London City is rarely a source of empty legs given the steep approach certification and short runway, though occasional Embraer Legacy and Phenom 300 repositions do surface. For transatlantic empty legs, Stansted is where the Globals and Gulfstreams stage, typically returning to Teterboro, Westchester, or Van Nuys.
